Produksi Bawang Merah asal TSS Varietas Sanren F1 dengan Pemberian Pupuk ZA dan Paklobutrazol

Peningkatan produksi bawang merah asal TSS dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan perlakuan pemberian pupuk ZA dan paklobutrazol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh pemberian pupuk ZA dan paklobutrazol terhadap produksi bawang merah asal TSS varietas Sanren F1. Penelitian dilakukan di lahan masyarakat di Tanjung Sari, Medan (Sumatera Utara) pada bulan Agustus-November 2020, menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok faktorial dengan 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu pupuk ZA (0; 75 dan 150 kg/ha). Faktor kedua yaitu konsentrasi paklobutrazol (0; 15 dan 30 ppm). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk ZA 150 kg/ha cenderung meningkatkan diameter umbi, jumlah umbi, bobot basah dan bobot kering umbi. Pemberian paklobutrazol hingga 30 ppm nyata meningkatkan bobot basah dan bobot kering umbi bawang merah. Interaksi antara pemberian ZA 75 kg/ha dan paklobutrazol 30 ppm menghasilkan indeks panen yang tertinggi.
