Pertumbuhan Stek Batang Empat Kultivar Sukun (Artocarpus altilis) dengan Variasi Panjang Stek

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh daerah asal daerah tanaman sukun dan ukuran panjang stek batang terhadap tingkat keberhasilan tumbuh stek batang sukun di persemaian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni- September 2018 di Persemaian Balai Besar Penelitian Bioteknologi dan Pemuliaan Tanaman Hutan (BBPBPTH) Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) secara faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah daerah asal yaitu sukun dari Yogyakarta, Cilacap, Manokwari, dan Bone. Faktor kedua adalah panjang stek batang yaitu 10, 15, 20, dan 25 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan stek batang asal daerah Manokwari memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter persentase hidup, panjang tunas, diameter tunas, jumlah daun, panjang akar dan volume akar. Panjang stek batang 25 cm memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter persentase hidup, waktu muncul tunas, jumlah tunas, jumlah daun, diameter batang, panjang akar dan volume akar. Tidak terdapat interaksi diantara kedua faktor perlakuan tersebut.
