Evaluasi Pemangkasan Ubi Jalar terhadap Kualitas Hay dalam Pertanian Terintegrasi

Penelitian bertujuan mengevaluasi tujuh klon ubi jalar dengan pemangkasan terhadap percobaan pembuatan hay. Di lapang menggunakan Rancangan Split Plot dengan 3 ulangan. Klon ubi jalar sebagai Anak Petak dan periode pemangkasan sebagai Petak Utama. Klon ubi jalar terdiri dari: V₁: Kuningan Putih, V₂: Beta-2, V₃: Kuningan Merah, V₄: BIS-OP-61, V₅: 73-OP-5, V₆: BIS-OP-61-♀-29, V₇: BIS-OP-61-OP-22. Periode pemangkasan umur 90 HST 120 HST dan 150 HST. Hasil pemangkasan brangkasan ubi jalar kemudian diawetkan dalam bentuk hay. Pemangkasan pada umur 90 HST (P1) menghasilkan bobot brangkasan setara 10.54-22.73 ton/ha (Beta-2 dan Kuningan Putih), umur 120 HST (P2) setara 9.78-18.93 ton/ha (BIS OP-61-OP-22 dan BIS OP 61) dan pada umur 150 HST (P3) setara 7.40-22.98 ton/ha (Beta-2 dan Kuningan Merah). Komposisi nilai nutrisi hay brangkasan ubi jalar mempunyai kisaran kandungan bahan kering 55.70-94.69%, bahan organik 84.68-88.89%, abu 11.11-15.81%, protein kasar 10.98-22.54%, berkategori kelas III, dan serat kasar antara 15.09-22.05% berkategori kelas I. Nilai kecernaan hay brangkasan ubi jalar mempunyai kisaran kecernaan bahan kering 48.55-74.90%, kecernaan bahan organik 55.72-69.25% dan TDN 48.56-61.66%.
